How to apply eyeshadow

To apply eyeshadow, start by prepping your eyelids with an eye primer to create a smooth base. Then, using a fluffy brush, apply a neutral shade across your eyelid as a transition color. Once your base is ready, choose an eyeshadow palette that suits the look you’re going for–whether it’s natural, smoky, or colorful. The first color you’ll apply is usually a neutral shade, which acts as a good transition color that allows the other shades to blend seamlessly. With a fluffy brush, sweep this neutral color across your entire eyelid, right up to the brow bone.

Next, it’s time to add depth and dimension. Pick a slightly darker shade to define the crease of your eye; using a smaller, tapered brush will provide precision.
